I've always adored the animals and flowers of Medieval French Tapestries (and later in the work of Edward Burne-Jones & William Morris), they all seem to float from the background with a buoyant and presentational charm. 

Antiqued sterling silver millefleur and three garnet beads - strung on a complementing velvet ribbon measuring 41 inches that can be worn around the neck, or around the forehead for a unique adornment.
